Report: Christmas Retail Sales Should Be Up In CO

(Denver, CO) -- Retail stores in Colorado could be set for a very happy Christmas shopping season. The "Denver Post" reports that holiday sales are forecast to be up by nearly three-percent this season, and that's better than the estimate nationally. The National Retail Federation says 152-million people intend to shop in person or online this coming weekend in the U.S. In Colorado, we're expected to fare well because unemployment is lower in here than around the country.
