It took firefighters from several agencies to bring a 60-acre fire near Strasburg under control last night. Some stayed through the night to verify it wouldn't re-ignite. The fire was reported just after 8pm at East 88th Avenue and Strasburg Road. Fire Chief Jim Reed says one mobile home was lost, but no one was hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Strasburg, Bennett, Byers, Southeast Weld County and Sable-Altura Fire Departments all responded. A total of 49 ground units and seven trucks were on scene at one point.
