A corrections officer from Sterling Correctional Facility was arrested Sunday in Denver for investigation of Internet luring of a child. The Denver Post reported that 59 year old Arthur Frank Stafford believed he was about to meet an underage teenager for sex, but was arrested by the Jefferson County district attorney's office. Stafford's bee with the DOC for nearly eleven years, but only at Sterling for about a year and a half. He was placed on administrative leave on Sunday, the same day he was arrested at the Village Inn in Wheat Ridge.

Locals Concerned About Federal Issues
Unfunded mandates. Always top of mind when you have a chance to talk with your soon to be Congressman and not left out of the conversation among Fort Morgan School District officials, Fort Morgan City officials and Morgan County officials when they met with Cory Gardner -- or Congressman Cory Gardner. He heads to DC to be part of the new Congress in January. All those officials officially asked him "What's an official to do when the feds come down with the mandates, but there's no money for them?" There are concerns about new road signs the feds want, air quality issues, food inspections and so much more. Gardner said he'll bring the issues up when he gets to the Capitol.
