Aspen police are warning the public after they found a credit card skimmer and a small camera at a downtown ATM site. Police said in a statement Monday it is unknown how long the skimmer has been in place. They say security videos will be reviewed to identify potential suspects. Authorities are encouraging people to monitor their bank accounts closely if they used their debit card at a Wells Fargo ATM in Aspen. They say the best option is to replace the card and get a new PIN number. Bank officials did not return a phone call seeking comment.

Weld County Recreational Pot
Residents in Weld County now have a place to buy recreational marijuana. C-Nine Caregivers began selling pot to customers on Monday in Garden City, a tiny town surrounded by Greeley and Evans. The Tribune reports about 25 people were waiting in line when the shop opened its doors. A former medical marijuana patient from Evans was the first customer. Both Greeley and Evans and other northern Colorado cities have banned recreational sales. This isn't the first time Garden City has cashed in on what was banned by its neighbors. Greeley keep the ban alcohol sales when Prohibition ended, so a ex-bootlegger helped start Garden City so a liquor store could open just outside city limits.
