A Broomfield man is accused of prostituting a teenage runaway for nearly two years until she escaped by jumping out of a speeding car. Robert Gonzales is charged with multiple violent and sex crimes, including trafficking in children. Investigators say he met the girl when she was 14. He's accused of having sex with her and later pimping her on Craigslist. The Denver Post reports investigators repeatedly tried to rescue the girl but they say Gonzales kept her hidden behind a false wall in his basement.

Colorado College Job Application Question Challenged
A gay man says Colorado College's listing of "queer" as an option for the gender of job applicants is insulting and should be illegal. John Kichi tells The Denver Post that he's been fired and homes because of his sexual orientation and thinks the label is "from the Dark Ages." The 66-year-old filed a complaint with the state attorney general's office about the optional question. The Colorado Springs school is defending its use of the word, saying some have accepted the term once considered a slur. The optional question on applications lists four other choices- male, female, transgender and not disclosed.
Broncos Head Coach Home After Heart Valve Surgery
Denver Broncos coach John Fox has been released from the hospital four days after undergoing heart surgery in Charlotte, N.C. Interim head coach Jack Del Rio says Fox is resting at his off season home in Charlotte. Fox had his aortic valve replaced Monday. He'll stay in Charlotte to begin his cardiovascular rehabilitation. Fox says it'll be difficult to be away from the Broncos when they play the Chargers Sunday but he'll be cheering them on from home.
