Morgan County Clerk and Recorder Connie Ingmire is heading up an effort to make the election an August 10th a mail only ballt. She shays it's an effort to save money






The savings will be substantial






She says neighboring counties are considering similar measures

Fort Morgan Downtown Project Earns Another Award

Since when is pavement green? While no one doubts there is a lot of oil used in pavement, there are ways to make it more sustainable, and Fort Morgan is being awarded for just that. In the third of a series of awards announced this week for the recent downtown project, the Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association says it will give a commendation to Fort Morgan officials next month. The ceremony is set for February 24th in Denver.
