Candidate Forums for Brush School Board and Brush City Council

The Brush Area Chamber of Commerce/Main Street is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Candidate Forum on Tuesday, October 13th from 7:00-8:30 PM at the Carroll Building and on Wednesday, October 14th at our noon luncheon from noon to 1:30 PM at Bunker Hill Country Club.

The Morgan County Clerk’s office will begin sending out mail-in ballots on the 12th of October. All voting will be done by mail-in ballot this year.

Brush School District Community Forums

The Brush School District is beginning a long range planning process.

Parent and community meetings have been scheduled on the following dates:

October 7 -- East Morgan County Library at 1:00 pm

October 12 -- Middle School at 6:00 pm

October 19 -- Beaver Valley Elementary School at 7:00 pm

October 21 -- East Morgan County Library at 7:00 pm

October 26 -- Thompson Primary School at 6:00 pm

October 26 -- High School at 7:30 pm

October 28 -- Thompson Primary School at 7:00 pm -- Translation available

We encourage parents and community members to attend any of the meetings listed. Input from our parents and community is very important in developing long range goals for the School district.

A community wide strategic planning meeting will be scheduled in November. Input from the October meetings will be reviewed and will serve as the basis for establishing district wide goals.
