Layoffs are coming to the corporate headquarters of Quiznos. KMGH-TV reports the company announced 69 layoffs, starting in March. A slow economy initiated the layoffs.

Questions Over Wolf's Death
Investigators want to know who poisoned to death an endangered gray wolf. State and federal authorities say a banned substance called Compound 1080 was found inside a two-year-old wolf in northwest Colorado in 2009. Authorities said the radio-collared animal wandered three-thousand-miles in search of a mate. The carcass was found in Rio Blanco County in April, 2009.
CU Football Player Busted
A University of Colorado football player has been arrested. Linebacker Michael Sipili of Honolulu, Hawaii turned himself in to Boulder County Jail yesterday. He was wanted for suspicion of sexual assault. On December 4th, a woman alleged Sipili had sex with her without her consent.
Hickenlooper Sworn In As Colorado Governor
Governor John Hickenlooper was sworn in as governor of Colorado yesterday. During his speech, Hickenlooper thanked outgoing Governor Bill Ritter for his commitment to renewable energy. Hickenlooper also announced two executive orders -- one requires the state government to partner with local communities in creating economic development plans specifically tasked for all 64 counties. His second executive order was the creation of the governor's trade and tourism ambassador program.
Widower Urges Whoever Stole Urn To Return It
A widower yesterday made a plea for whoever stole his deceased wife's remains to return them. Bob Herrle of Black Forest lost his wife, Terry Herrle, two years ago, and he kept her remains in a mahogany-colored, ten-by-ten-by-eight-inch box in his home until someone broke into his home and stole it Sunday. Herrle tells KRDO-TV he and his wife intended to be buried together and when he saw the urn had vanished, quote, "that really, really struck home." Whoever took the urn may return it to a local police station or fire station and anyone with information on the incident may call the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
Teen To Be Charged As Adult In Triple Pueblo Shootings
A 16-year-old suspected of shooting three people in Pueblo, including one who died, will be charged as an adult. The Pueblo District Attorney's Office at a hearing yesterday in Pueblo District Court announced Myles Johnson will be charged with first-degree murder, as well as two counts of attempted murder. Authorities say they suspect Johnson about 9 p.m. last Thursday opened fire while in the back seat of a car, shooting three other teens with him in what looked like a drug deal that became a robbery. Officials say 18-year-old Marco Morales died while 18-year-old David Lucero and 17-year-old Isaiah Chacon were injured.
