A man hijacked a cable television truck before taking police on a wild chase through Greeley which saw the driver ramming through an iron gate, invading a home and finally shooting at officers. Greeley police identified the driver as 47-year-old Scott Walker of Phoenix. When officers finally caught Walker yesterday, he was evaluated at a local hospital and charged with eleven felonies that included attempted murder of a police officer. Surprisingly, no one was injured in the crime spree.

State Minimum Wage To Rise
Minimum wage workers in Colorado should get a raise soon. Most state workers getting the minimum wage will see a bump of in pay of eleven cents an hour starting next year. That's due to a rise in inflation of one-point-seven-percent. The raise will bring hourly wages to seven-36. Last year, the state minimum was cut by four cents.
Domestic Violence Cases Drop In Boulder County
Reported domestic violence cases fell 13-percent from 2008. According to a study by the Domestic Violence Research Team, domestic violence arrests were down nine-percent during the same period. Boulder County District Attorney's Office domestic violence head Tim Johnson tells the "Daily Camera" those numbers might not point to a long-term decrease. Johnson says there are often cycles of ups and downs.
