Morgan and Logan County law enforcement agencies, including the Fort Morgan and Sterling police Departments, will be participating in an effort to increase seat belt use and save lives on rural Colorado roadways. The Colorado State Patrol and 24 rural law enforcement agencies in 30 counties are mobilizing for a Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement campaign next week. The stepped up enforcement comes at a time the legislature is again considering making the seat belt law one an officer can pull you over for, instead of one that can be added on if you're pulled over for something else.
