If you own a business in Fort Morgan, you'll want to attend a meeting on Friday. The meeting will be to re-evaluate the city's emergency response plan. Roger Doll is head of communications for the Fort Morgan City Police Department. He said this meeting is to see who can do what. Doll said the meeting is at Country Steak Out this coming Friday, July 16, but anybody who wants to attend needs to email Sheila Bass in the chief's office by Thursday the 15th.

Fort Morgan Police Investigating July 4th Vandalism
Police are investigating an incident where a vehicle windshield and a house window were broken. On July 4th, a resident in the 400 block of West Platte Avenue reported having a window on their house broken when a rock was thrown through it. When officers arrived, they also discovered their vehicle had damage to the windshield. The victim briefly saw two suspects and followed them for a short distance before losing sight of them. Police have questioned several people who may have knowledge about the vandalism but have not made any arrests. Damage to both windows was estimated at approximately $700 and police continue to investigate the crime.
