MCSD Looking for Trailer Thieves
The Morgan County Sheriff`s Office is looking suspects in the theft of two horse trailers from Great West Trailer and Truck, west of Fort Morgan along Interstate 76. The trailers are worth 130 thousand dollars.
Sheriff's officials said that on September 3, at least two people broke into the company's lot. They hooked a 2009 Bloomer 30 food horse trailer to their Ford truck and headed toward Wiggins on I-76. The trailer is black, white and gold and has living quarters in it. A few hours later, that same day, they came back and took a 2007 Merhow Equistar two-horse slant trailer. This one was white, and they again headed toward Wiggins.
If you know anything, call the Morgan County Sheriff's office or Crimestoppers.

Retail operations were banned by voters in Akron, Broomfield, Hillrose, Otis and numerous other cites. In 2000, voters approved an amendment to the state Constitution allowing the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes.
Colorado Meth Project In Morgan County
Meth is a rural drug. That's what those with the Colorado Meth Project say and why they're working to curb the problem in Morgan County. Members of the group were in Brush recently and said lots of people in Morgan County have admitted to using the drug and rehabilitating from it. Officials say meth use in Morgan County is more than triple that of use in all of Colorado. Colorado Meth Project wants to bring a week long program to the county to help curb use of the drug.
