The Man accused of shooting up the movie theatre in Aurora last month was seen by at least three mental health professionals at The University of Colorado prior to the massacre. A school spokesperson declined to reveal how long he met with each and the depth of their involvement, citing the gag order imposed by a judge. His name was brought to the attention of the university’s Behavior Evaluation and Threat Assessment team, which may indicate they were concerned about his potential to harm himself or others.

A University of Colorado analysis of election factors that’s accurately predicted the winner of every presidential election since 1980 revealed that the 2012 winner will be Republican Mitt Romney. The analysis looks at economic data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia The CU figures paint a vastly different picture than current traditional research, which shows Obama with a slight lead in nine of the 10 swing states that will decide the election: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin.
