Morgan County authorities are investigating a man's death. According to a news release from the Morgan County Coroner's office, Douglas J. Green died last night of an gunshot wound at his Fort Morgan home. Authorities are not releasing further details as to what they believe may have happened, other than to say an autopsy will be performed and that Fort Morgan Police and the Coroner's Office continue to investigate the incident.

Sterling Public Library Program Tuesday Night
Sterling Public Library will provide the program “Appreciate a Dragon Day” on Jan. 19th at 6:30 p.m. Children who attent the event will hear stories about our special mythical friend, the dragon. Following the stories participants will play nine holes of miniature dragon golf. Library officials say the event is free.
