The Sterling Police Department has exhausted all leads pertaining to a burglary of eight handguns back in July. Chief Roy Breivik says he believes that someone knows something.

Sheriff, Coroner Investigating Death in Morgan County

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and Morgan County Coroner’s Office are investigating the death of an unknown person after human remains were found Friday afternoon in the channel of the Bijou Creek north of I-76. An autopsy has been scheduled but due to the advanced state of decomposition, cause and manner of death, and identity of the person, may not be determined for some time.
