Morgan County Commissioners approved a resolution coming out against Amendments 60, 61 and Proposition 101. Commissioners said at this week's meeting that Amendment 61 would cut paying off the new construction of the county's human services building, so commissioners are considering paying it off early. Commissioners said that individually, the three issues might not be bad, not raising taxes and such, but when you put them together, they say they're excessive. Several other local entities have come out against the three ballot issues.
