From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. you can drop off your unused or expired medications, no questions asked, Colorado Plains Medical Center, Safeway Pharmacy or Walgreens all in Fort Morgan. e cannot accept: Intra-venous solutions, syringes/sharps or needles, Mercury thermostats, Oxygen containers, Chemotherapy/Radioactive substances or Pressurized canisters.

Brush Board Opposes 60, 61 and 101
Brush School officials say they'd lose a significant amount of funding with Amendments 60 and 61 and Proposition 101, which is why the Brush Board of Education is opposed to this fall's ballot initiatives. While Coloradoans would get the tax breaks, funding for their schools would be cut drastically. One issue is that the per pupil dollars from the state would be cut from hundreds per student to just a few dollars per student. Other school related issues would also suffer under the measures.
Peetz Schools Oppose 60, 61 and 101
Peetz Plateau School Board is joining the clamor of those opposed to Amendments 60, 61 and Prop 101. Superintendent Ben Dutton said the district's funding would be cut by about 55 percent if the measures are passed by the electorate this fall. As we've told you with other school districts, the per pupil rate from the state would drop from hundreds of dollars to just a few dollars per student. Dutton said the district would lose all the way around.
