Weldon School Bus Crash

Weldon School Superintendant Robert Petterson says the school bus involved in yesterday mornings crash is totaled and will have to be replaced. The bus ran into a ditch and flipped onto its side on County Rd 6 north of Highway 144. The driver and the one student on board suffered minor injuries.

Changes coming to Sterling's Parks, Library and Recreation Board. Dave Appelhans, Parks, Cemetary and Forestry superintendant has resigned. He's taking a job with The County. The PLR Boards says they expect that it will take until at least August to fill the post.
