More Crews Battling Northern Colorado Wildfire

A massive wildfire outside Fort Collins has scorched 12 square miles near the town of Livermore. The fire is still less than 10-percent contained. Kristy Wumkes with the US Forest Service says another day of rising temperatures and dry thunderstorms is creating difficult conditions for crews on the ground...






TAG: More than 500 firefighters are battling the blaze. The forest service is also using two heavy tankers and five helicopters. Gov . John Hickenlooper has declared a disaster emergency to allow $3 million of the state's disaster fund to be spent fighting the fire.
