v25% Of Coloradans Have Nearly No Savings

(Denver, CO) -- More than 25-percent of Colorado residents have nearly no assets to weather a financial crisis. The figures were released yesterday in the "2012 Assets and Opportunity Scorecard" by the national nonprofit Corporation for Enterprise Development. Colorado ranked 22nd in the country overall, behind the top states of Vermont, North Dakota and Minnesota, and ahead of the worst states of South Carolina, Alabama and Nevada.
