Arapahoe County Sheriff Plans To Charge For Campaign Security

(Arapahoe County, CO) -- The Sheriff of Arapahoe County is planning to charge political candidates for the extra security measures required by their campaign events. Sheriff Grayson Robinson put the candidates on notice in a statement released last week. Robinson said a typical four-to-six-hour event could cost local taxpayers more than 25-thousand dollars.
