VAIL, Colo. (AP) — The Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame says Bill Bergman, who helped develop the Keystone ski area, will be inducted into the hall in the pioneer category this year.
Bergman will be honored at a ceremony in October along with four other inductees who will be chosen in voting from March 15 to April 15.
The Summit Daily News reports Bergman is credited with transforming skiing into a corporate enterprise.
