Do you want to learn about how the Sterling Police Department works? Then you might want to enroll in the Sterling Citizens Police Academy. The academy starts on September 2, meets on Thursday nights and runs for 12 weeks. You have to be at least 18 years old and have a clean criminal record. The classes meed in the training room at the new Sterling Emergency Communication Center on 4th Street from 6 to 9 pm. Applications have to be received by August 25th.
