People in the Sterling, and more importantly the Yuma areas are breathing easier this morning, as escaped convict Douglas Alward is back in custody. He was captured yesterday, just after noon, in a farmhouse
near Yuma. It was Alward's fourth escape since 1980, and he was due for release from the Sterling Correctional Facility in October.
