MOrgan Conservation District's Landowners Seminar Set for Saturday

The Morgan Conservation District has set this Saturday as the date for a landowner workshop in Fort Morgan. It's from 10 to 1 Saturday at the Country Steak-Out. Some of the areas that will be discussed, round table-style, include ridding properties of prairie dogs and what to do with the holes when they're gone; how to do composting; repairing ground that's been over-grazed; and the latest advice on how to set up a new windbreak. Of course, there'll be government folks there to talk about land use permits, building regulations and the like. The cost of the workshop is $20, which will include the noon meal and a resource book that was developed in part by Morgan Conservation District.
